Having worked for various large organisations in diverse sectors, I am currently working as a Prince2 Practitioner Project Manager within the utility industry. I have worked in various roles of responsibility demonstrating I am pragmatic, tenacious, incisive, growth-oriented team player with a can-do approach. I also have leadership, problem solving and implementation experience, backed up by a First Class Honours degree in Computer Science.
Selected Achievements
Analysed business needs for customer dialogue via the Internet. Gathered business requirements and delivered an immediate, low cost interactive functionality relevant to npower.com for existing customers to interact with npower on this channel.
Enhanced a specific energy products performance by analysing, defining and documenting business process improvements with a potential cost saving of £1.6Million in first year.
Project Managed the Gas Annual Quantity Review of the Independent Gas Transporters, cost saving npower in excess of £1Million.
Defined, developed, trained and implemented business process improvements, analysing and sense checking portfolios. Validating different methods of pricing and different sources of data to ensure consistency across the various systems and tender documents.
Directed the in-house web development and design teams ensuring compliance with the guide and rules of the Direct Debit scheme. Ensuring projects were delivered on time meeting the banks’ standards.
Redefined and delivered a young e-business strategic scope and direction. Formulated a revised business approach and recommended change to the Managing Director and implemented. Provided direction and clarity, enabling the business to double its value to £12Million within 12 Months.
